Henry at 30 Months

This is a bit late, but I still wanted to do a Henry update at 2.5. To be totally honest, I'm not finding the twos to be all that terrible. Sure Henry has his days where things are rough, but for the most part Henry is so funny and cute right now.

This kid never stops talking. Ever. He is constantly talking, telling stories, and signing. He is very opinionated and will make sure you know exactly how he feels about any particular issue. Henry is also a pretty good negotiator and will make anything a negotiation if he can.

Physically, I don't have new weight/height stats for Henry since we haven't been to the doctor. We're around lots of 2-year-olds and Hen is almost always one of the smallest kids, so I know he is still small. However, he is growing. He finally outgrew his 12 month size pants {at least in length} and wears 18 month pants and anywhere from 18 months to 2T shirts. Henry is completely potty trained although he still has occasional accidents and wears a pull-up for naps/night. He is pretty much sleeping 12 hours at night and taking about 1 nap a week -- as sad as that is.

I actually think that Henry may be in a little growth spurt right now. He has been eating everything under the sun the last few days. Normally, Henry tends to be on the picky side of things. He loves fruit, carbs and anything rolled in sugar. However, veggies and protein are a struggle most days. His favorite food is anything Asian -- most days Henry won't really touch a chicken nugget, but give him orange chicken or sesame chicken and he will eat an adult portion.

Henry's obsession with Yo Gabba Gabba knows no bounds. He owns all of the characters and loves them all. They are his constant companions. Henry also loves all babies. He is so sweet and gentle with them, talks with them, rubs their back, tickles them. It's really cute to see. He also loves to be outside. Swimming and bike riding have been a big hit this summer.

I can't believe Henry is closing in on 3-years-old. Where has the time gone?

Hehe! What a goofball! He's too cute. I am so surprised that he's only taking one nap a week! I will be so sad when nap times come to an end!

I just love the adorable pictures (and from one Montessori mom to the next, think the fact that he rolled himself in a work rug is hilarious!) :)We are getting closer and closer to a three year old with our youngest, too, and it's scary that they grow up so fast!
