Are you sick on Halloween photo dumps yet? I hope not because I have a super grumpy owl and a ridiculously happy Elsa to show off.
Henry insisted on being Elsa for Halloween this year. We suggested other options, but he wanted what he wanted -- and that's what Halloween is all about. I think the pictures speak volumes about how thrilled he was. The happiest Elsa I've ever seen.
And for as happy as Henry was, Nora was equally unhappy. She was not a fan of that costume and she let us know.
Overall, it was a great holiday. Henry finally understood trick-or-treating and spent over an hour running from house to house in the 30 degree weather with the neighbor kids. While he was out, he turned to Morgan and said "This day is amazing!" And, at bedtime that night, we had sobbing "I don't want this day to end!" Despite the sugar highs and crashes, it was great watching him be so excited for the special day.
We now have too much candy and a little boy that is already talking about next Halloween.
