Married Again

A few weeks before Henry was born my fingers swelled to massive proportion. As a result, my wedding rings were retired. I figured that they would come back a few weeks after Henry was born, but then came the massive breast feeding related weight loss

After Henry was born, my body went crazy losing weight. By the time I was two weeks postpartum all of my   pregnancy weight was gone. Over the next several months, my body continued to lose weight. In all, I lost something crazy like 55 pounds in a couple of months and was way unhealthy skinny. Well, long story short, my wedding ring went from being too small to way too big pretty quickly. The rings just sat around collecting dust.

Well, with this recent pregnancy, I have actually been able to put a little weight on again. {I never though I would be so happy about that!} And one positive of that is wearing my rings again -- just in time for our fourth wedding anniversary!

On August 23, Morgan and I officially celebrated four years of married life. It was bittersweet since our pregnancy officially ended the day before. But, we tried to enjoy the day as much as possible. Despite recent sadness, we have an amazing life together, a beautiful son, crazy happy dogs and a big surprise to share soon!

Happy 4th Anniversary Morgan! And happy having my beautiful wedding rings back!

Oh my gosh -- what a beautiful bride! I'm such a sucker for wedding photos and yours were beautiful! You're both glowing! I hear you on the rings. My fingers got disgustingly huge when I was pregnant and I couldn't wear them forever. Now it feels so good to have them back.

Still thinking of you and your family at this time and sending my love. <3

I love these pictures; and wearing those rings really is a wonderful anniversary gift; it sounds like you have learned to focus on the positive.

Beautiful wedding photos.

I went through massive breastfeeding weight loss too. I am still down 15 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight 19 months later!

Isn't it crazy?! I'm still around 12 lbs down, and I feel like all I do is eat. Ever expected that one!
