For a small time, we homeschooled one of our children. We used a Montessori inspired approach, although it was not completely authentic. While we enjoyed homeschool, a new Montessori public school opened and our children won a lottery to gain a spot. Therefore, our homeschooling journey ended.

While we used our homeschool spaces for our toddler, I would no longer recommend "tot school" in the way that we did it with Henry. In Montessori, formal academic learning is delayed until around age 3 for very important reasons, we have not chosen this approach with our subsequent children.
