Paint and Spray -- Summer Art for Toddlers

Need and easy and fun way to keep your toddler busy this summer? Take painting to the great outdoors! Seriously, this was so popular with Henry and so easy for me!

For Henry and I, one of our favorite things to do this summer is hanging out in our backyard. It's a toddler paradise out there. Sandbox, slide, cozy coupe, the works.

But one thing Henry has loved doing on hot summer days has been something I've been calling Paint&Spray {because finger-paint-on-a-cardboard-box-and-hose-your-kid-off is too hard to say}. All you need is an old diaper box (or any cardboard), some finger paint, and a hose!

It's so easy, and I highly recommend trying it out in your own backyard!

~ Paint&Spray in four easy steps ~

Step 1: Cut up an old diaper box.

Step 2: Drip some paint.

 Step 3: Let your toddler loose. {My favorite part!}

Step 4: Spray down! {Henry's favorite part!}

The masterpiece:

Do you have any fun toddler-led art that you like to try in the summer?

What a cute idea! I may have to try this out. I think Lennox would be the same as Henry - paint all over the face!
