15 Months Old!

15 month photo -- he may need a haircut soon.

Its been awhile since I've written one of these updates! (I decided to do them when we have doctor's appointments -- so pretty much every three months.) It's kind of crazy how fast these last three months have flown by. And looking back since March, its crazy how much Henry has changed.

His face has lost all the remaining "babyness" and he really is looking so much older. Physically, the change has been less noticeable. Like I said recently, he wears clothes between 6-9 months and 12 months with the occasional 18 month thrown in there. He still wears size 3 diapers. But he is growing! Henry unexpectedly jumped up to 30.5" long (28 %!!)! He's now 20 lbs 14 oz. He now has 8 teeth, and 3 molars coming in.

Seeing Uncle Cory off, before he headed to Afghanistan.

Henry is still super active. He runs, climbs, dances, and tries to jump. He gives hugs, kisses, high-5's, slaps, kicks, and bites. Henry can also climb stairs like a pro, and goes down the slide at the park all by himself. Henry is also talking up a storm. I've lost count on the number of words he says -- but my best guess is somewhere in the 30-40 word range. His favorites are no, Elmo, Ama, Opa, gorilla, yeah, Big Bird, and Mama.

Henry wore this jacket last summer too. Tiny guy.

Cousins.

Henry's personality hasn't changed much over the last three months. He is still a very particular, crabby, difficult baby. I've resigned myself that he will probably be like this forever.

Double fisting.

"Is there something on my head?"

Hen's favorite things to do now are all about discovering stuff and learning. He loves books, tot school, and his play kitchen. His favorite things to do are to swing in the park swings, play in sand, read, and sing.

Hen loves throwing the ball to the dogs.

Henry's favorite foods right now are bananas, blueberries, french fries, sweet potatoes, peanut butter, and asparagus. He also loves those squeeze pouches from the store. He now eats all table food. He still nurses three times a day, and gets two cups of breastmilk with snacks. His favorite snacks are chips, puffs, raisins, and cereal.

Teething is strange.

Seeing these pictures, makes me really excited to see how different he looks and acts at 18 months!
